Indulge in the prefect espresso with the Avanti® Malmo Espresso Maker. Combining its traditional silhouette with Scandinavian esthetics, it is the perfect tool for the astute coffee drinkers who want to brew a rich and aromatic cup of coffee.

Attractive, simple and functional, it is constructed from cast aluminium and features an elegant beechwood handle and knob. This two-part stovetop brewer is suitable on gas and electric hobs.

  • Sizes: 6 Cup (300ml) and 9 Cup (450ml)
  • Cast aluminum construction
  • Beechwood handle and knob
  • Easy-pour, drip free spout
  • Contemporary, functional design
  • Separate espresso maker components and fill the lower chamber with cold fresh water, ensuring that the level remains below the pressure release valve. (For optimum results never use re-boiled or stale water.)
  • Insert the filter funnel back in the lower chamber and add medium ground coffee (do not tamp).
  • Firmly screw the upper and lower sections back together.
  • Place the espresso maker on stove and heat on medium to high setting.
  • For gas stovetop, make sure the flame is not larger than base of the maker as the flame should not come around the sides
  • Eventually, steam is produced which forces the hot water to rise up through the coffee grounds, filling the upper chamber with freshly brewed espresso.
  • In a matter of minutes, the brewing process is concluded and the coffee is ready to serve.
  • Before pouring coffee, stir it in the upper chamber with a small spoon to equalise all the different coffee layers for optimum flavour.
  • Separate all components and hand wash with warm soapy water.
  • Clean filter funnel with warm water and washing-up liquid. A washing-up brush may be helpful in removing coffee residue.
  • Avoid abrasive cleaners and scourers when hand washing
  • Wipe dry with a soft cloth.
  • Do not reassemble the product until all parts are completely dry to avoid oxidation.
