Colour indicators highlight the difference between an effective and ineffective descaling solution. A specific blend of pH-sensitive dye compounds will show a range of colours from red, through to orange, brown and blue. Orange indicating an effective descaling cycle, and blue indicating that another descaling cycle should be undertaken.
Detergents in Spectra are readily biodegradable.
